Vegetarians are plant and some meat eaters. I have a friend who is vegan. Makes life hard.

I am proud of the way you raise your girls. Gives me inspiration. I have one who has a heart to serve others and will probably be a missionary in some ways. Ha!
I have always had a hard time sharing the things that hit me the deepest with the people I'm closest to. Nikki may have the same problem. Just love her.
My brother and his wife go to Kenya on mission trips. The money always appears. The plans always fall into place and they always come back absolutely transformed. It's an amazing opportunity.
My sister-in-law met her husband while in the Peace Corp in Panama. I agree that you are so much more invested and vulnerable on those sort of trips that I think it's easier to fall in love.
I'm shopping for Ryan's birthday thisweekend... should have it there before his birthday. I really struggle over what to get Austin because he's the same way - too old for toys - but at the same time, he likes things like magic tricks and gadgets and gizmos.
My head is killing me. I hope Nikki gets to go to Figi, too. You know, I think you're going to have to call on some outside source for help with Psycho mom. That an adult (in a church group, no less!!) is doing or saying ANYTHING to your teenage daughter that is making her cry and upsetting her so much is criminal! She would just be too tired and played out to do it. I never realized being a stay at home Mom really was a trip. No wonder I got chronic fatigue and collapsed when I tried to work and be a single mom, too. I was overwhelmed to say nothing of trying to be a famous published writer, too. When you add up what you do and lay it out on paper, well I have respect for you. You get a mighty lot done. I wonder what those kids will think when they think back on their child and teen years. I think you are entitled to a few swear words now and then after a two day session with hyper Dante in trouble. That kid can get in more trouble on the Internet in five minutes than any kid I have ever met. But his dad says he will never put him on ritalin. I say no, if you have a race horse, take him to the track and let him run! If you don't, you deserve what you get, but it seems that not everyone who has kids bargained for Super Charger boy.
