look!

Well I wish this guy would have showed up at my place today!

I started today with a long list of things that I needed to get done, and I did try my best to get them done.

First I went to get an eye exam and new glasses, but the place was booked. Then I thought screw it, I am going to get lasic done next year anyway.

Then I went to make a package and I was told that the bear label on the box was.... well the post office did not like it. So I had to go home and repacked the box just to go and try to mail it again.

Then I had to go to the school board and have Nikki's schools switched. Well I just love dealing with people who THINK they know what is best for your child. I did however make it out of the building with harming anyone.

Then I had to do to Amber's school and deposit some money into her account and pay a book fine for her. That should have been easy, however I had to run all over the school just to find the right people to do all of this.

Then I had to come home and clean the living room. Please keep in mind that I asked four different people to do this task and no one did it, so I ended up cleaning it. I was so pissed!

It took me forever to load all the pictures to computer and I swore I was going to throw the computer before I got them loaded! LOL

I had no energy to cook dinner, so I can not tell you what my family ate, but I am sure they will be fine.

I am going to go do nothing for the rest of the night!

colling down

I must say that I am enjoying the cooler weather here.  It is really nice to be able to sit out side and not be burning up!

There really has not been to much going on this weekend. Everyone has just kinda hung out and done nothing. It was a lazy weekend for everyone.

I have started working on a new puzzle and this one is going to be tuff, but that is o.k. because at least it will keep me busy.

I talked to my mom this weekend and my dad is not doing good. He stopped eating a few weeks ago and is down to 120 pounds. His memory is starting to go and he is on oxygen full time. I asked my mom how she was holding up and she just started crying.

I can't imagine what it must be like for her to watch the love of her life die. I wish I could do more, but I can't.

I must say that I do not regret living so far from them. I am sure that if I lived closer I could help with some little things.

It is hard to just go on with life and in the back of my mind I know that the next time my mom calls it will be to tell me to come home.

Enough on the sad stuff. I am going to go have dinner with Rusty and then we are going to go pick a friend up from the airport.

yesterday was long

So, a few days ago I asked Rusty to fix the radio in my car. Not only did my c.d. player not work, but my satellite radio also does not work! Rust went out to the car and told me that everything worked just fine!

So I got in the car yesterday and still no tunes!

I was getting ready to head over the mountain when I noticed a hitch hicker. Yes, that is right I picked up another hitch hicker! This good was interesting to talk to. He has been clean for a few years now and was on his way to see his parole officer. He use to deal drugs.

So I drop this kid off and finish heading to San Diego. There was no traffic so I got to San Diego an hour and 1/2 before C.J. was suppose to arrive.

I went to the marine corp recuit depot to walk around. The marine at the gate is looking at me real funny. HMMMm could it be because I have no base sticker, or the fact that I am missing a  plate for the car? I was just hoping that he was not going to ask to see all of the paper work for the car. Which I left on the counter, at home!

So I just smiled, and said that I was coming down to pick up a friend and that I was early. I asked where everything was on base and did my best to distract the young. I guess having on a low cut shirt helped!

I found so really nice stuff at the exchange. I think the depot has the nicest exchange ever! So I call Rusty and told him about some of the stuff that I found and I hinted that they would make awesome Christmas gifts. Rusty told me that he would let me buy all the stuff that I saw if I would let him buy an m1 gerand! Wait one second here, this new gun that Rusty wants cost $500 and the stuff I want adds up to maybe $200, so I am not liking this deal. So Rusty agreed to give $500 to go blow on what ever I wanted! I am still thinking about the whole think.

I still had some time so I went over to the museum. I walked in and noticed this foul smell. Well it was recruit day at the museum. So there were so many nasty smelling marines crammed into small rooms. I do not know when the last time these recruits showered but I do know they stunk.

The recruits just kept looking at me. OH that's right they have not seen a female in 3 months! So I asked one of the workers if I could walk through the musuem. He said sure you can and started walking with me. Then he said "make a hole" all of the recruits just moved aside and let me pass. I thought that was kinda cool. I was so thinking about saying "make a hole" every time I saw A group of these recruits just to see if they move for me. But I was nice and just walked around them.

It was finally time to go get C.J. Well he was late, by almost an hour! I circled the airport a million times before a cop pulled me over. He did want to know why I only had one plate and why the tag was expired on the car. Great now I have to act like a dumb women. So I start pulling out what paper work I do have. I just kept saying " Officer I am not sure if this is right stuff. My husband said that he was going to take of all of this." it actually worked. He told me to have a nice day and I got to circle the airport for a while longer. I guess sometimes it is o.k. to play the dumb women.

I got C.J. and then we went to Ray's place and I got all of his critters.

Man by the time I got home last night I was so ready for bed. However for some reason I am up way to early. But at least I have a nice quiet house.

more critters

Well I must be crazy. Our friend Ray called me yesterday to tell me that the pet sitter they hired has just quite!

So I am going to go get his dog and the cat and bring them back here. That will make a grand total of 3 dogs and 4 cats in the house!

That's o.k. that is what friends are for.

I am going to be on the road most of the day. I have to go to the San Diego airport, then go up to Pendleton and then take a 45 min. ride through Pendleton to get the animals. The another hour ride home!

Oh well, I better go get ready to go! LOL

what should I do first?

I actually have to leave the house and do some stuff today! LOL It has been so blazing hot here that I have not wanted to go do anything.

A lady called me yesterday in response to an ad I had placed. I was asking any glass bottles or can's that I could recycle, so that I could put that money twords the next mission trip. Anyway, a lady called me yesterday and she has two big bags of glass and cans, so I need to go pick them up. Every little bit helps.

Last night I bought the rest of the material that I needed to finish yet another quilt. I swear I make quilts in spurts. I have gone for months with out making one and then I end up making a ton of them in a short period of time.?

I got a call from one of the marines that comes here every weekend. ( he is home visiting family before he leaves for Iraq) Anyway this marine gave his mom the service flag that I made and she did not know what it was. So he made his mom look up the history of the service flag, Then his mom got on the phone with me. She was just so thankful that we have taken in her son, and that I would think to make her a service flag. I never really look at taking in people as a big deal. I just think that if my child was far away from home that I would want someone to do the same for them.

I need to go get the laundry started and then go do my running around.

off again

I know it is Monday, but for some reason I am in a good mood! Then again it has just started! LOL

Today Amber is leaving for Reno, so she will be gone for just over a week. One of her friends called last night and they offered to fly Amber to Reno! So the girls are going to be camping and boating and then they will be heading to Portland. I was like they are offering to pay for your whole trip? Cool!

Nikki and a friend are out at splash mountain today. With as hot as it has been I know they will enjoy playing in the water all day.

I am so not sure what I am going to do today. I guess I will take it ass it comes.

I hope everyone has a great day!
