good day

 Today was an awesome day at work. We really did not do any work, but we did a lot of laughing. I needed to laugh today.

Rusty applied for a job and got an interview today. It will be for a company that sells fire arms. That is perfect for him. Rusty said if they are going to cut his disablity that he is going to go back to work. I was worried since he cannot always move his left leg, but he said that is a desk job.

I have noticed that I have a lot of animal lovers that read my journal. I just went to animal planet and became a member of "ROAR" I promised to help animals by making quilts to help keep the animals warm. Please check it. http://animal.discovery.com/roar/about/about.html

I found out today that Roxy offers surf camps for girls and that they are free! I am going to have to check it out and take the girls up there so they can learn to surf. One of the guys that I worked with was a surfer and he was telling me about this program. He said that Roxy will provide everything! They are trying to get more women into the sport of surfing. That is so cool and free works for me!

I think I am going to go take a bath and do some knitting. It will be so nice tomorrow to get up and not have to do anything! I am going to hit a few yard sales and then I am going to spend some time here with the children and take care of the house.

busy and good

Things are so looking up around here. I have had steady work all week and it looks like I will be able to buy the children something for Christmas! I am so happy that I put the last bill in the mail today!

Here is a secret between all of us. I have been working at Sherman Williams all week. I found out yesterday that they also make the paint for wal mart! So go to wall mart and get great paint and pay half the price!

I am sorry for not commenting in everyone's journals, but rest assured I am reading.

I came home from work today to a clean house! The girls actually cleaned it and did not ask for anything in return. Should I be concerned? For now I am just thankful that it is clean and that I do not have to do it.

Will you guys please look on my said bar and go to the unfamous artist. Her daughter is ill and she is very worried. Lets all give her our support.

My back is healing up, but I am still not allowed to play with the power tools. I must say that the guys I am working with are a good group of guys and I would not change it for the world.

I got a very interesting phone call last night. One of our friends name is Jake, and he is in Iraq. I told Jake to tell his mom that if she needed anything to call me. Well she called me yesterday! She is planning a trip down here and wanted to know of some good places to hang out and other things to do. We have made plans to go to the ocean and let our girls surf. Oh she is bringing down two girls. Anyway, so now our girls will really be California girls with their surf boards in tow! LOL

Well, I have some calls to make and some stuff to look up on the Internet, so I will chat with everyone later.

up and moving

I am up and moving. It feels so good not to have to go to work super early! This week I am helping to get a paint store ready to open. It is not hard work, but I am picked on for being the only girl on the job sight.

Yesterday I was told to go jump on these things so that we could break them down and get them thrown away. Well that did not work, I just bounced right back. Then we were asked to break down so pallet. The guys just jumped on them, I bounced back. Then one of said  move and let me show you how to do it! Then he said, oh wait you only weight 90 pounds. HA HA he was not that funny! LOL

I was also not allowed to use to power tools. Why do guys feel the need to not let me play? Hmmm. Hubby said that drilling into cement is hard work and that I would not have been able to do it anyway.

I found out yesterday that a job a worked almost  a month ago was what the call a prevailing age job. So I should be getting a check for about $200 extra dollars! I can't wait. I guess good thing do happen to good people.

A long day a head of me

Well I am up and moving, but I am moving on lack of sleep! Butter woke me up last night so that he could go out. That was a good boy, but the cats started chasing him around the house, so I had to chase him so that he could go out! 3:30 is way to early for this shit. One of these days butter will have to learn that he is bigger then the cats.

I have a job today. I was so lucky to get one assigned last night. I am very happy that I did not have to get up and go wait in line!

I need to get busy, and get out the door.

good day

Well yesterday I sold my bear claw bath tub and then a gentleman called me asked me to work for him! Then when I got home from work there was actually a child support check!

Money is still very tight for us, but all of this windfall has helped out so much. I must admit that I still don't think that we will be able to buy anything that is on anyone's list.

Carrie, Amber said that she would come out and help you if you took her to Dolly Wood! LOL

Amber got mail from the National Guard today. Rusty and Amber had a long discussion about joining the military. Rusty does not care if she joins but he wants her to join because she wants to.

Nikki has this stupid map project due in a few weeks. To me it seems like a bunch of busy work and according to her teacher we do not know anything, because nothing is right unless it comes from their book. Whatever! I sometimes think that teachers need to get off their high horses and realize that they and their books are not always right. Anyway, there will be no eating at the table tonight! LOL

I am glad that I put dinner in the crock pot this morning. I am so worn out and I do not want to cook! So tonight it will be Swiss steak and mashed potatoes. Quick and easy, and that is the way that I like it!

My mom made it through the storm and she said that they did not get hit that bad. I am glad that she is o.k. The farmers almanac said that it was suppose to be a very bad winter. I am wondering if they are going to be right.

Right now I am in a happy place. Nikki has her music on really loud and is asking us for help. Amber does not have to work tonight, so it looks like we will all be hanging out tonigh.

Life is good.

better butter

 This is butter. Butter is a dog that we did foster care for. When we got him, we were told that he was mean and could not be trusted around other animals or children. We were also told that no one could be in the room while he was eating.

We took Butter in and the only problem we did have was when he was eating. We have had Butter for about six months now, and he has turned out to be the best dog!  On the second night that we had Butter he jumped up into the bed and just went to sleep. My husband said that we had to keep him. Butter has done so well. He no longer guards his foods, he is scared of the cats and he loves children. Butter still does not like to share his toys, until last night. I was so shocked that he came up to me and wanted to play tug a war!

In case you have not guessed I am an animal lover!

Today was a little bit better. I got some laundry done and did some little things around the house. I am just feeling so down and I don't want to do anything.

My back was hurting so bad last night that I took two of my husbands tylonel5. ( they have codine ( however you spell that word) in them) That was the best high I have ever had! I had a dream that I falling and that I could control the speed of my fall. I even felt the wind hitting my body. Then I fell out of bed. I got back in bed and started dreaming again. This time I was dreaming of sex. In my dream I said " hey if you want to have sex now is a good time since I am in a good mood, but hurry before I change my mind!" I thought it was real, but once I asked my husband he said no we did not have that conversation.

I need to make Amber an appointment to go to the doctors. She has had her period for a month now. I am wondering if we should put her on birth control just to regulate her cycle. I guess we will see what the doctor has to say.

I think I am going to go knit.

Today was one of those days that I should have stayed in bed.

I go up at 4 and went into the office only to find out that there is no work.

I then came home and cleaned up the house. Only to find ants in children's bathroom. That was fun to clean up.

I tried to take a nap, but then one of the dogs jumped on me.

I told Ryan to get his laundry and put it away, but he swears he could only find one pair of underwear.

I asked another child to fold the laundry, and guess what? She found more of Ryans stuff.

I asked another child to switch the laundry around. Instead of using common sense and checking to see if the clothes were dry, she just pulled them out and put new stuff in the dryer. I should make them wear wet clothes.

I made a pan of my favorite cookies. I got one of them and everyone else ate the rest.

Now Tony is here and I am really not in the mood for company. Yes I hid the bowl.

I am going to eat dinner and just go to bed. maybe life will get better tomorrow.
