I was feeling so good yesterday! I got my nails done and ran all of my errands. Then Kevin called me and told me that he was getting off work early and he wanted to take me to lunch!
It was so nice to sit and talk to Kevin. Then it hit me, Kevin has only been back from Iraq for a week and he was gone for a year! We were able to pick up right where we left off. I just love having great friends.
The steroids that I am on make eat like I am going to run out food! and I noticed that I am retaining water on my injured side! I think I only have two days left on the steroids and then maybe everything will get back to normal for me.
The best part of yesterday was that I was able to take a bath! I could actually stretch out and scream in pain! I did not take any of my prescription pain pills yesterday and I just felt so good!
Rusty does not have to work the gun show this weekend. It seems that a shipment of guns did not come in, so they would not have anything to take to the show! I am happy that he will be spending the weekend here with us. Rusty so needed a break.
Tonight I am going to treat my family to chili and homemade bread. I got cheers from everyone on that idea. Chili and homemade bread is my families comfort food.
I so wanted to scream yesterday went to get into our second car. Rusty had asked me to drive it for a while since it has not been driven since Christmas when house guest from hell had borrowed it. Well I gotten into the car earlier in the week and asked house guest to please go clean out all of his trash. Then yesterday when I got in I saw the back seat was not attached! House guest had pulled the back seat to see if he could fix the fuel pump and never put it back! I asked Kevin to try to fix it for me, but he said that he could not get it back in.
Today I am going to ask Rusty to try to fix it and to try to find out why it sounds like there is a basketball bouncing under the hood. I will never allow this man to borrow anything else of mine! He has no respect for anyone or anything. At least he got orders and I will not have to see him until sometime around July!
I have a few errands to run today, but nothing major, and then I think I am going to rest the rest of the day. I did tell the children that they had to scrub down their rooms today, so that should take them a little while, but then they will have the rest of their day free to do whatever they want.
Yesterday I posted my antique sewing machine for sale. I got an e mail on it this morning. I do not really want to sell it, but right now I know that we could use the money to pay on my medical bills. I know that I will find another antique sewing machine, but for now, I am going to try to sell it.
I hope everyone has a great Saturday!

So glad to hear you are feeling better. That ws a pretty bad session you had with your back. But isn't it a relief when a part starts to get better you were beginning to wonder never would. I pulled a muscle quite bad and I was phantasizing about sholder rotor cuff surgery I might have to have, etc. it took so long to start healing. Same with m leg. But I am walking without pain now and it took two yeas for that to happen. Takes patience to let Mother Nature do her job! But do be very careful and let others lift for you! Gerry
Why can't houseguest from hell leave? Glad you're feeling better. Yea, steroids can really turn you upside down.
