The fires have just come with in two miles of our home. I am staging everything by the door. When/if we get the word we are out of here.
I guess I will get to live on the beach after all. Should I pack a swim suit?

Sorry I havn't been by.I am just catching up with comments..OH! dear I have you all in my prayers and have been following this awful news on our TV in England.I do wish those fires would subside.Take Care .All stick together.Keep us updated somehow if possible.It's very worrying.God Bless Kath

Oh Sweetie my prayers are with you and your family. I lived in Southern Cali. for 11 yrs. I remember well the fires. Watching the fires in the San Gabriel valley, Going out my door and watching the fires come down the mountains behind my home. we were lucky, They stopped of all places at the Mission in Sierra Madre. The Santa Anna's are brutal. God bless and keep us updated.
