yes it is Monday

Yes it is Monday.

I can't find my sewing scissors and I want to sew.

I had to take Amber out to finish getting all of her crap done for Europe.

It is hotter then heck.

Did I mention that I can't find my sewing scissors?

Today is my 38th Birthday. So far today I have cleaned out the litter boxes, done laundry, ran the children around, lost my sewing scissors, and most of all I am missing my dad.

My dad was born on June 19th. For as long as I can remember I would always celebrate my birthday with my dad.

My father was in jail the night I was born. This is a true white trash story.

While my mom was in labor with me, my dad went to have a drink. He got arrested for drunk and disorderly. My mom bailed him out of jail on his birthday. It also happened to be fathers day.

I need to go get busy. I am just going to have to break out the quilting stuff so that I can cut some material. I bought this really cool material and I so want to get a curtain made today. Is that to much to ask?

Happy Birthday to young thing!!! I wish I was 38 again & know what I know now.  I bet your dad didn't do that again.  I knwo about missing a dad.  Mine has been gone since 1990 and my daughter was born on his birthday, so she misses him a whole bunch on December 4th. Gosh..my daughter is older than you..she'll be 47 in December and my son will be 37 on August 12th so you're close to his age. Hope you find your scissors. EAT CAKE !!! Linda in WA

Happy Birthday to you! I wish I were 38 again but in the place I'm at now. When I was 38 I was newly divorced and had just graduated Nursing school. I wouldn't go back to that time for anything....but I'd love to be 10 yrs younger!
Hope you find your scissors and enjoy the afternoon.
Hugs to you, Pam xoxox

Happy Birthday to you. Today is my great nephew's birthday. I hope you find your scissors or get some birthday money to get some new ones. That's funny you said that about your dad being in jail the day you were born because Anthony was in jail the day Kyan was born too, but I was glad because I didn't want him or his family causing problems on a joyous day in our family. Glad you left your link when you visited I hardly get alerts anymore and I keep trying to reset them, but it still never works so now I have to add everyone over on the side in my favs on my AOL page.
Take care, Chrissie

Belated happy birthday.  That is a funny story about your dad landing in jail because of his birthday celebrating.  I know men who should have gotten in jail for their celebrating.  Birthdays seemed to lend themselves to stuff like that, but not Father's Days Thank goodness, as drinkers will use almost any holiday to tie one on.  Gerry

This was such a funny story about your Dad.  A very happy belated birthday.  So sorry I didn't know in advance.  I hope you find your sewing scissors. I have to have several because I lose them and don't find them until I'm not looking for them.  Hope you get everything done in time.

Thinking of you,

Your friend,

Nelishia
