it is not.....

O.K. for everyone that said my coffee pot look's like a bong..... well your right! Trust me if it was a bong and if I had weed I would be using the crap out of it!

My sunshine came home yesterday! It was so nice to give Nikki a hug. Today I ended up with a house full of her friends. I just loved it!

I spent today running around getting all of the last minute stuff for her trip to Nicaragua.

Amber called me today. She is in London and is LOVING it. Amber said Italy was dirty, Switzerland was beautiful, Paris was gross, and London is perfect.

I told Amber to go to the Embassy and get a picture of it for me. My dad was stationed there. The Army use to have a nuclear weapons stored next to the embassy, so my got to spend a lot of time in London. However my dad did not like London. He said that all it did there was rain. Amber said that she has not seen rain yet.

Amber did say that she would like to go live in the UK for a year or so. I told Amber well then I suggest you come home and figure out how to get back there. Or you could be a homeless person on the streets of London.

Ryan has a friend. I am so glad that Ryan has met another little boy with issues. The boy does not pick on Ryan and these boys play very well together. I am just so happy for Ryan!

Target has these new earth friendly bags and I so want them. However there are 8 of them and they are $10.00 each. So for now I only have two of them. One say's clean and green. and then other one says organically grown. I will find a way to get the rest of the bags! LOL

O.K. I think I am actually going to go walk the dogs.

Oh the joys of my life.

so glad Nikki is home (temporarily at least); see how much out of the loop I am; I had to go back and look at the coffee pot to see if it looked like a bong; I didn't catch it the first time

so glad Ryan has a friend! I bet that makes him and you a bit happy!!

I bet Amber would enjoy living abroad for a year! yesterday when we were at Seaport Village, we rode one of those pedicabs and the girl pedaling was from Poland, working here for 3 years on a visa; she was loving it; said she wouldn't want to live here, but enjoying her time before she goes back to finish schooling; Amber could find something I'm sure to do over there :)

One of Bob's grand daughters was taken to England a few weeks ago by her great Aunt.  She is staying~she's gotten herself a job in a Bread & Breakfast out in the suburbs of London...while applying for a work visa.  We've all agreed it wil be a good experience for her. She's keeping her plane ticket home, so in case it doesn't work out..she can still get home.  The climate there is much like it is here in Washington.  So happy to hear that Ryan has found a friend. Hopefully your summer will be easier.  Linda in WA

I think homeless in London would be a big ole adventure for Amber.

It's good to have Nikki home safe and sound.

And for Ryan to have a friend, that's going to do a whole lot for him growth wise.  I'm happy to hear it.

You are always running around like a chicken with it's head cut off.  I don't think you are ever still.

Umm...thankfully someone else said it first. Glad to know I'm not the only one who thought bong when I saw the coffee pot. When I read the description coffee pot...I was like where I don't see it (winks)...

Glad to hear Nicci made it home safe and Amber is loving London. It's great once the kids leave home, you can run around half naked and not worry. Then again I never did when my kid was living at home anyway...Great news on Ryan finding a friend. Maybe you can set up get together's for them and you can get the occasional break for yourself. First of all, I am so very happy for Ryan that he has a good friend.  Glad Nikki is home for a bit, even if it's just a short bit.  Glad Amber is having a good time in London.  Wish I was there!

So Nicci made it home from her travels! I am so glad to read that Ryan has found a friend.  Life without a friend is tough. My kids were always sad when circumstances prevented them from having best friends to share their lives and homes with them.  Raymond always wanted to take his on vacation with us to Boulder, and they loved it, too.  Your girls are going to be extremely cosmopolitan before they even get to college.  They will be a hit!  Gerry  http://journals.aol.com/gehi6/daughters-of-the-shadow-men/  Some journalists ask for the names of your journal, but I have yours on favorites down to Doc's.  My list of favorites is so long at home I cannot find my favorites when I go to visit with the time and energy I have got.
