yes it is Monday

Yes it is Monday.

So last night a friend called me and said "I have two extra tickets to burning man. Do you want to go. We have the bus packed and you can ride with us."

I wanted to cry. Hell yes I want to go to burning man. I could be packed in no time. Since everyone will be nude I want need much clothing.

Then reality hit me and I to turn down everything down. I can't just pack up and leave. There would be no one here to take care of Ryan.

So I guess my question is... If life is what happens while your busy making plans for the future, then what happens when you can't make plans for the future?

So today I just did stuff around here. I did get a lot of sewing done, and I got Ambers blanket all tied together. So that is one Christmas gift done with.

Rusty is out at a cigar social, so he will not be home for dinner. Amber is working, so she wont be home for dinner. So it looks like the rest of us are going to be having left overs. I am just not in the mood to cook.

I did finally find someone with a carpet cleaner, so tomorrow I am going to clean the carpets. My life is just so exciting that I can't stand it! LOL

Last night I finally saw the show Michael Vick. Animal planet did an awesome job! I am so glad that a rescue group stepped up and took all of the pit bull's. I can imagine destroying those dogs just because people mistreated them.

My mistreated pit is the best dog in the world and I don't know what I do have I lost him. I swear someday that dog is my sanity.

I think I've heard of The Burning Man but I don't know what it is either. You know how it is when you live in the boonies like I do. Sorry you didn't get to go. Paula

I'm sorry you couldn't go to burning man; okay, I didn't know what burning man was, but my hubby know what burning man was; it sounds like fun, hot perhaps in the desert, but fun

need someone to help you clean the carpets? I'll send son over if you do

you know, I'm kind of afraid of pit bulls only because you hear the worst about them; but I have heard of so many people who say they are the best dogs; I haven't seen that special yet on Michael Vick; I'm glad he got punished for his actions

I don't know what burning man was. Seems to me you mentioned it before 'cause it rang a bell. I'm sorry you couldn't go.
Maybe you can arrange to go and have the girls watch Ryan for you? Just a thought.
Hope you have a good day.

I don't know what Burning Man is, but it sounds like you really want to go & I wish you could. Could the girls not help out with Ryan for a day or two?

I have a pit as well....He (Curly) is the BEST dog I have EVER owned. Period.

Have a good one....

Well the dude was stupid for getting involved dog fighting.

Life is just that life get over the let down or find a way to go. If you want to go that bad then go there are 2 adults there and one is the biological father, tell him to step up and look after his kid!

I was delighted a rescue group saved the dogs. It makes no sense to punish the breed, instead caterate the idiots who train them violence. Hope tomorrow is a better day for you dear friend. (Hugs)Indigo

I'm so sorry you had to miss Burning Man.  Eler Beth and I watched that show on the pit bulls.  I was so glad that they only had to destroy two of them, and was thrilled to see how well the others were rehabilitated.

Nobody could be more ashamed of Michael Vick and the way he treated those dogs than his hometown. It was disgusting. I am also ashamed when the news talks about him graduating from the same high school I did. If you ask me , he has gotten off easy , but what pro athlete doesn't. I am sorry I missed the Animal Planet show but then I probably would have been even more angry.

I saw a TV clip on those pitbulls maybe the same one.  The rehab place is in Utah. I was amazed they would tackle such a job as retraining those dogs and actually succeeding.  Gerry
