Today is the Marine Corps 232 Birthday.
I am one of the lucky ones who is married to a marine. however being married to a marine is not always a celebration. There are also a lot of tears.
Tonight I will not reflect on the tears, tonight I will celebrate. I will celebrate the fact that everyone we love is here and safe.
Tonight I will celebrate the fact the these fine young men and women are willing to fight for our freedom.
Tonight I will celebrate the fact that I am a mom to so many of the worlds finest. I am very blessed to have the awesome marines call me mom.
Tonight I will celebrate in honor of all of the Navy men and women that support the marine. There is often a rival between the Navy and Marines, but with out the Navy the Marines would not be able to do their jobs.
Thank you to all of medical people that take care of the marines. Thank you for going into harms way, and pulling a marine to safety. Thank you for transporting the marines around the world. Thank you to all the Chaplin who hold church service in a war zone.
Tonight I am going to put on my party clothes and I am going to go party with the marines! It is a time to celebrate.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARINES!!!! I read something the other day about the celebration and it just touched my heart. It told of some of the great warriors and their actions in saving their fellow Marines. Once a Marine always a Marine! Hugggs, Robin
