I am back

Well I made it through the ball and my mothers visit.

I did have a good time at the ball and Rusty made it a point to thank me for coming. I am glad that I put my anger aside to go celebrate with everyone.

My mom and I had a nice visit and we spoke of nothing that would cause a fight. I am not in the mood to fight or be hurt by here any more.

Right now the house is very nice. There is no one here but me and I am loving it. I have a kitten sleeping on my lap, a hot cup of coffee and no phone ringing!

Yesterday after I took my mom and Kevin to the airport I had to drop off three kittens to get fixed. Buddha is sleeping on my lap and I think she is pouting. All of her play mates are gone. They will be back tomorrow night and she will be happy then.

I do not know how Nikki did it but she managed to talk Rusty into letting her keep the solid black kitten. He is such a big push over.

For the record that will make 2 dogs and 5 cats. I got some comments on my lap dog. Yes that is a pit and yes that is the nicest dog ever. His name is butter and he is actually scared of the cats! I keep telling Butter that he is bigger then the kittens but he does not believe me. My pit is a big baby!

Amber is in a hurt locker. She had texting put back on her phone so that she could talk to Sam while Sam is in class! Now Ambers bill is $100 and she does not have the money to pay for it. I think she said that she is going to go petition tonight. She better do something. I guess her failing economics should not surprise me!

Ryan went to the dentis and he has a lot of cavities and one rotten tooth. The dentist said that the rotten tooth is a baby tooth and that it should fall out. I am going to ask Rusty to take him to get his teeth filled.

Chrissy was talking about gas prices today. Gas here is about $3.30 a gallon! Rusty is going to start driving one of the cars to work or at least on days that he does not have to haul anything. Soon it will come to the point that all we are doing is paying for gas!

Rusty loved the chili. Rusty asked me if there was any tofu crap in the chili. I said no. He ate the chili up. Yes dear Rusty it was half meat and half tofu. I am going to start using more tofu.

Today I got an email from a friend and here is an address where you can send a Christmas card to a wounded service member. I am also going to give you a link so that you can send a Christmas card to troops serving over sea's. The cards going over sea's will need to be mailed soon.

I'm glad you're back.  With Mother's it's always a possibility of words flying.  I'm glad it didn't happen.  I think it's so funny about the tofu.  I'll have to look into it's cost and see if it's cheaper than hamburger.  And he ate it all up. lol

I wish I had a kitten too. And that scarecrow is such a cute graphic.

I haven't seen my mother since I was 16. Believe it or not, I'm ok with that. I'm doing just fine figuring out the mothering part with my own daughter. There is something serene to having a busy household quiet for a few minutes. Glad you were able to get through the last few days in one piece. (Hugs) Indigo

Glad you got all that behind you now and you're getting a chance for some peace and quiet. Wow that's some high gas prices. I was looking back last summer and we were up to $3.49 that's very high for my part of the world. Here it was $2.99 the other day didn't get out today. I can't afford to travel everyday so I don't. My grocery trips are made on one day a week. I feel like John's grandparents they only left their house one day a week. LOL.
Take care, Chrissie

I naturally got a kick out of you sneaking tofu in Rusty's chili.  I don't think you can tell the difference, and with half and half you really could not.  That gave me another laugh.  You are always good for a laugh the way you put things.  I am so glad you have a sense of humor to deal with aggravation.  It is entertaining to the rest of us even when you are aggravated!  Gerry
