perspective

Well I ended up doing all of the running around today. Amber was able to pick up some extra hours so I can't complain there.

It was actually kinda nice to get out. I was talking with the lady at the grocery store and we were talking about Thanksgiving. She said a lady came through her line and she asked the lady if she would be cooking Thanksgiving dinner this year. The lady said no because she lost her husband and son this year. O.K. that put things into perspective for me. I could be doing worse then cooking dinner for any all marines that walk through the door.

So I think I am ready for Thanksgiving. I am sure that I forgot something, but what would Thanksgiving be if you don't forget something.

This year year I will be stuffing the bird with fresh oranges and cranberry's. I actually can't wait to taste it!

Tomorrow Nikki and her friend Hope will be going down to the vfw to help pack food baskets and help distribute food. I think it is great that the girls are doing this.

I am ready for black Friday. I have the sales papers and I think I am hitting wal mart first. Yes, I am that crazy women who stands in line and wait's for the stores to open, but hey at least I am getting some good deals.

Well, I am going to go get some sewing done. I have been saying that all week, but I am just going to let everything else go and go sew. I am sure that the house work will be here when I am done sewing! LOL

Don't you love when someone makes you thankful for what you have?!  I could whine because I have to spend the day without my parents and sister but at least I do have my husband's family.
