Back from Vegas

Well we made it back from Vegas. It was so nice to just get away.

Rusty pplayed Texas hold em? Something like that. I lay ed by the pool and wish that the parents would drowned their children.

I was so not in the mood to listen to other peoples children this weekend, but that is what happened. Oh well lesson learned. The Mirage hotel has a top;ess pool, so I told Rusty that I want to stay there since I know that won't be any children in that pool.

All in all it was a great trip and I am glad that we went. We were able to meet up with our friends and we spent a few hours with them. It was so nice to see them.

We went to the Merle Haggard concert on Saturday night and that was a blast! We had good seats and I smelled weed from where we were sitting. Oh I love that smell.

Now it is back to reality, and reality is the laundry is still stacked up and the kittens are sick. So today I am going to try to get he laundry caught up and the kittens have an appointment at 4 today.

I could not decide what to make for dinner, so we are going to have chili dogs and french fries. Quick and easy.

Well ladies we have to take a vote today. A gal in the UK wants us to come and get her. Since we can't drive there we will have to steal a cruise ship or steal an air craft. So which will it be?

So today we are off to FUQUAY VARINA, NC. I have been to NC, but I did not get to see that much of it. So faze Daze pack your bags! It is your turn to get on our bus and escape from everything!

cruise ship for sure!! of course, that's what those pirates did with that yacht, so we have to be careful!!

Las Vegas sounds fun!! I bet the concert was a blast; my son would have enjoyed your seats, not for the music, but other things going around, LOL

I think they need 2 types of pools at places like that, kid friendly and adult friendly, people pay good money to have some peace and quiet

I forgot you were in Las Vegas this weekend, but I emailed you Friday night, check your email if you don't have something from me marked "Read this" email me back. I need some info from you if you have it; it could be fun news, who knows?

I am so glad to find out you did get to Los Vegas with Rusty.  I am sorry other people's kids made themselves known, but it is hard to find an entirely kid free world. At least yours were home! Which reminds me, I have been watching the old Johnny Cash show around 10pm on Channel 8 (pbs) on Friday night and a young handsome Merle Haggard was on there singing very well.  I saw the old haggard Haggard in Phoeniix not too long ago and he was so off voice I was disappointed.  HIs voice has always been so great.  I am glad you enjoyed him! Viva Las Vegas! Kids should totally be banned from Vegas! Who takes their kids to Vegas? Reallly! Glad you guys had fun... I didn't understand any of the gambling stuff while I was there.... once a southern baptist, always a southern baptist... Michael played craps and all kind of other stuff. He lost money and didn't seem to care too much so I didn't care too much. I made $7 off nickel slots and cashed out as soon as I hit that. My brother had given me the initial $1 to bet with so I paid him back and bought a Starbucks. That's all I really need in life.... a roof over my head and an occasional Starbucks.
Weed smell. *snicker* I know the smell but have never ever ever in my life done it. My BIL is pretty regular with the stuff and teases me about "initiating" me. I can only imagine the aroma of a Merle Haggard concert.... too fun! Did you guys go to Old Vegas? I loved it.
Ok... catching up... *Hugs*

Sounds like a terrific weekend minus the kids...I swear I have no patience with parents who let their kids run amok and don't make them mind. It seems you can't even go shopping without getting ran over by them. I know it sounds bad...I do love kids, just the well minded mannered variety. (Hugs) Indigo
