humming birds

I for got to mention that the people I work for took me out back to show me a humming bird nest. There were even two little birds in the nest. I thought that was so cool! I have never seen a humming bird nest before. I can now add that to my list of new things for this year,

Our friend Kevin has been here all day, so it has been nice to be able to sit and visit with him. Kevin was also kind enough to clean the kitchen for me! LOL

I am going to try to make some more head way on cleaning off this desk. I think I should just go get a really big trash bag and just throw everything away and then we can start from scratch.

So Rusty thinks that Nikki's boyfriend looks like howdy doody, so we had to come up with a name for Amber boyfriend. I said that he looks like Charles manson. So Amber goes and looks up Charles Manson, and then comes back and tells me that her boyfriend does not look like Charles Manson! I swear sometimes Amber does not have a sense of humor.

I have three days left until the rest of my boys come home! I am just so happy. I am also trying to get as much house work and other little things done, so that when they do come home I can spend all my time with them. I just can't wait to hold them in my arm. I just them home! Here is a scary thought, one of the guys that is coming back is only 18 and he is already a veteran! I guess he a new face of what veterans look like.

So I better get off the computer and get my little but in gear.

NEW THINGS I HAVE DONE THIS YEAR:

1. welcomed home the troops up at March air reserve base

2.saw an osprey fly

3. ate Brazilian food

4. ate fried bananas

5. saw a humming birds nest

Love the humming bird.  Out in our beautiful patio where the swimming pool is a woman used to feed the hummingbirds.  Now that she has stopped feeding them I don't see them any more  But every morning the birds would sing when I was living with Pierre out on the patio.  Guess what.  Doc and I have my two kites on the floor and are checking for a windy day so we can go try to get them up, thanks to you.  You reminded me!  And you also gave me another idea for a story.  I have played a lot of pool and I can take my camera over and shoot some pics of the master LeRoy McLaughlin who lives down to the Silvercrest  He is one of the4 great pool playing masters I have played pool with, and once in a great while even beat a game.  Pierre insisted we play every day if possible for 4 years!  Gerry
