not good

Well last night I ended up at the emergency room. I could not sit or lay down. If I stood I felt better, But it is so hard to stand for 12 plus hours!

Poor Rusty came home from work and then had to take me to the E.R. Yes I screamed the whole way there. I think child birth is less painful.

They gave me a shot of something at the hospital and man did it work quick, but it did not last but for four hours! So I was still up and down all night and I woke Rusty up a few times. He was so tired this morning and he still has a long week a head of him. Poor guy.

*Have I ever mentioned that I am truly scared of needles. I get scared just seeing them!*

Amber will be coming home from school early today so that she can sit with me. Rusty wanted Amber to take the whole day off of school, but Amber had part of the exit exam today.

One of our "friends" said that they would come down and pick up my prescription's and have them fill. She said that she would be here by 8. Now keep in mind she only lives a block away. At 9 I was woken up by pain. I called my "friend" and she said well... can I come over in a little bit. I am out eating breakfast. Rusty said that I should not be mad or disappointed, but she does this to me every time.

I guess what gets under my skin is the fact that I have helped her out so many times.

Oh! Ambers boss asked her if she would like to become a shift leader at her work! She will have to wait until she turns 17, but that is only a few months away! GO AMBER!

I am so sorry if I do not get to everyone's journals. All of the meds make me sleep.

O.K. now I need to find something to be Thank for

1. I am thankful to my other neighbor for getting my prescription's filled.

2. I am thankful that the sun is shining, and warming up the house.

3. I am so glad that the nurse who gave me a shot was very good. The last time I got a shot in my ass it hurt and left a big bump.

I agree...GO AMBER.  I find that often people do not take us seriously about our pain.  It is very hard for some people to put themselves in the place of others.  I think I would not depend on that neighbor again, knowing she puts herself above others.  If I were near I would love to help.

Oh dear, you were having back pains the last time I was here, but now I find it really got bad.  I am so sorry.  I hate for people to have to suffer from bad back pain.  My family has quite a lot of back sufferers.  My sister's back used to give her problems and so did her daughter's, and they both swear by conditioning to prevent having to have surgical intervention.  They both walk really well, but they both say if they let up and their muscle tone gets weak the problem is back.  Pierre had a bad back from top to bottom and what a bummer.  His bones were very thin, and he did heavy work so ruination was inevitable.  I haven't read back far enough to read if there was an original injury or this just came on you gradually.  I do so hope you can get feeling better.  I hate to see anyone threatened with surgery on an ailing back.  I helped Pierre through one, but he lucked out.  He had a great surgeon.  He was losng the use of his right arm, and the surgeon did a fusion that restored function completely and he never had another problem with it.  I could see he had to have surgery as he could not lose the function of that arm    Gerry
