stink

So I woke up at 5 a.m. Just bright eyed and bushy tailed! I got a load of laundry started, started the coffee, and had a smoke! I was thinking that today was going to be a good day.

Then Nikki missed the bus. So Rusty had to take her to school, so he could not follow me to the tire shop. I got to the tire shop and they were still closed! I hate having to wait on people. And to top it all off I was getting cold.

Rusty came by and gave me some money so that I could go get breakfast while they put the tires on. I have to admit that breakfast was good and it was nice to eat out for a change.

Anyway, I got home and walked in the door and the house just smelled odd. I was like o.k. whatever, today is cleaning day anyway. I opened all the doors and windows and just started to clean. When I got to the last part of the house I realized that one of the dogs had gone to the bathroom on the rug.

Not just some rug that I could throw in the washer, oh no, they had to go potty on the wool hand woven are rug from the middle east! So I did the best I could to get that cleaned up. Now I have a fan blowing on it and I am hoping to dry it out. So now my house smells like wet wool. ICK!

I am so cold today. I do not know why, but I just cannot warm up today. I think I am going to go crawl back into bed and take a little nap. I also need to give my hip a break. It is starting to hurt, I guess I still need to be careful.

Rusty said that he will be working late today, so tonight the children can either have left overs or they can heat up some soup for dinner.

Ryan is going to be so mad at me. Rusty and I agreed that he was watching way to much t.v., so we limited him to 1 hour a day. However if he thinks that we are not paying attention then he will go and zone out for hours. I gave him several warnings, but he is not listening, so I am going to block his favorite channel for about a month.

Well, I still have some stuff to do and then it is off for a nap and to try to warm up. I so hope that this smell goes away soon!
