up early

I woke up at 4 a.m. I am bright eyed and bushy tailed! And in very little pain! Three cheers for me. One of the meds that I am on is a steroids and the doctor did say that I would be feeling better once they got into my system.

I am still not super steady on my feet, so Rusty still wants me to stay at home and not go anywhere, and that is fine with me!

Not being able to get up and do my normal stuff was driving me nuts! So I am doing what I can when I feel good and just leaving the rest. Amber and Nikki have been great in picking up the slack. Heck, last night Nikki even cooked dinner for everyone! I am so proud of her.

Rusty is going to sit down and do our taxes one night this week. We usually get a lot of money back, but since I am the one with no insurance I am sure that all of the money will have to go toward my medical bills. That just makes me mad, but there is nothing I can do about it.

Speaking of Rusty I keep forgetting to mention that Rusty has lost a grand total of 25 pounds! Right after Christmas Rusty went and bought some smaller jeans, and he was back to his pre heart attack size. Now those jeans are getting to big on him! I wish I had that problem, but I am so glad that he dropping this weight.

Our friend Ray is coming by today and dropping off a bunch of food and some other items. He is getting ready to move and the movers will not pack these items, so he is going to give us everything! What a blessing. Having extra food will take some of the burden off the bills. I am so worried about this bill from the ER!

Since no one else is up I am going to find something quiet to do. It is really hard to do anything when everyone in the house is sleeping! LOL

I haven't gotten my bill yet. Michael and I have a bet that it will total over $2000... he says it will be over, I say less... if he's right, he has to pay me the difference between the amount and $2000. If he's right... I don't know? I guess we'll both have to pay to come up with the money.
Hope you're back to normal soon. This sucks....
*hugs*

Haven't done taxes yet this year. I'm sure we will be doing it soon. Good for Rusty for losing all that weight. Medical bills can be so much money, it's scary even with insurance.
