so sore

That's it I give up! I am going to go see the holistic healer. When I was working as a day laborer I hurt my back several times. And now my hip is killing me. My husbands pain meds are not working any more. I just cried this morning because I could not move.

I give in. My body is in need of TLC and I must give in. For those of you who don't know I am a little strange.... o.k. a lot strange. I do not go to doctors I believe that the body can be healed in other ways. * just so people don't think I am way out there. I would never take hubby to a healer when he is having a heart attack!*

Anyway the lady that I am going to go see does Reflexology, acupressure and uses magnets. She has worked wonders before.

I am going to do a little as possible today. I got most of the quilt put together, but if I got on the floor to pin it, I don't think I would get off the floor! LOL so no working on the quilt today.

Nikki's boyfriend asked Rusty if he could take Nikki to the winter formal. So it looks like we will be dress shopping soon. We will hit some of our favorite thrift stores and see what they have. Amber was asked to the prom by her boyfriend, but since the boyfriend has not asked Rusty about it I won't start shopping for that dress yet.

Ryan use to play on a special needs baseball team and the baseball coach for that team called me yesterday and asked if I was going to put Ryan back in. Rusty and I both said no. Because Ryan is high functioning and most of the children on the team are not, well it just is not a challenge for him. The running club is a challenge for him and we like him being challenged!

There is a place here in town that offers belly dancing lessons. So I think once I get my back and hip fixed I am going to go sign up for classes. I think it sounds like fun, and it something that I have never done before, so that is a plus for me. LOL I just love trying new things.

o.k. well I am going to sink into a nice hot tub. The pain meds are starting to hit, so I can move a little bit more. I just need to remember not to do to much.

a holistic healer is not a hippy fad, youre right,in fact they can do so much better work than any old doctor or painkiller,i hate tablets anyway, youll feel a bit worse to begin with but then loads better soon, till then take care of yourself, love zoe xx

Yeah Kelli!  Belly Dancing!  Yeah!  I would love to go with you sometime.  I hope you are feeling better sweetie.  Let me know how that reflexology goes.  I've never done that kinda stuff before.

I have been scrolling down and seeing that your back problem this time is giving you fits. Lots going on in your life with your friend Kevin coming home and kids' lives.  You have been so good to come to my journal on a regular basis. I got hung up in some emotional back waters and could not visit journals very long.  A long time friend has to have heart surgery.  We became estranged about a year ago.  She just became too emotional and therefore abusive for me to deal with anymore.  She only got angrier if I said anything. It must have been her heart problem coming on  But she is still angry and emotional about me, talking to my sisters, so I only talk to her on my family website where others are reading and she has to be restrained or risk wearing out her welcome. I think she is afraid of dying during the surgery as she is 77. You are such a warm hearted girl to get involved in helping friends and others in trouble.  Hope you get feeling better.    Gerry
