So on Saturday night I am taking Amber over to a friends house and I spot someone throwing out an old teachers desk. I knocked on the door and asked them if I could have. They told me to take it! Score, I have been wanting on of those desk's for so long.
Sunday a friend and I go and pick up the desk. I am thinking that it is going to take me forever to get all of the old paint off, but it is just coming right off! I am so happy. I have an electric sander, and I am just working away. Then I had a brain fart and got a finger to close to the sander and off went a chunk of my finger. The chunk was so deep that there was no blood! The chunk missing is so wide that they would not even be able to stitch it!
I forgot to take a before picture of the desk, but I will post an after picture.
Rusty came home yesterday, and it was so nice to see him. I really miss him when he is gone. So last night we had sex. Missing you sex is good! LOL
Today I need to get busy on some stuff around here. Laundry, cleaning, sanding, and I will even cook dinner for my family tonight.
Rusty had a doctors appointment this morning. It is just a routine heart check up. Every month he is getting a little stronger. I know that there are some things that he will never be able to do again, but that is o.k.
I will chat with everyone later.

I'm so happy for you all to be able to connect like that. I love free stuff when I find it like that. Reminds me of the brain fart I had when I got my finger too close to the skill saw. Right through the center of my finger nail. Still feels tingly to this day when it gets cold outside.
Post the pics when you are done. It might've been easier to just use the solvent to remove the paint. Sorry. Hope Rusty's tests show he's in perfect health after the missing you sex. lol

OUCH!!! That had to hurt!! Glad you got the desk you wanted. Sounds like a "challenge" to get it finished up, can't wait to see the pictures!
