something new

Yesterday I spent all day in the car. I had to go to each of the children school and drop something off to each of them. I was so sick of driving!

Today I am just going to hang out and do some stuff around here.

I did something this morning that I have never done before. I actually ground meat to make hamburger meat! We were so sick of how high ground beef prices were that we bought a grinder. It was so easy to do, and I know that it will have a lot less fat since I trimmed the meat myself.

The dogs will get a nice treat tonight. I saved all of the fat and I am going to pan fry it with some garlic. They will really like dinner tonight!

Ryan started his new school yesterday and he seems to like it. I am glad about that.

I talked to my mom yesterday and she is so frusterated that she just wants to cry. The insurence companies are giving her the run around. Her yard is still a mess from the tornando, and since it has been raining there, she cannot even burn the leaves and twigs.

I am looking fowared to spending some alone time with Rusty! All of the children are in school and..........

Insurance?  Argh!  Your mom may need some comfort on that one.  :O

Just this morning Gordon mentioned again that we need to get a grinder and make our own Hamburger.

I get so tired of chauferring people around, too.  Glad Ryan's liking his new school.  I hope the insurance companies will just pay what they're supposed to pay without giving your mom any more runaround.  I think it's terrible when they do that.  Hope you got to spend that alone time with Rusty.  We call that "quality time"!
