not much going on

I am sitting here eating what is left of the apple crisp. ymm it is so good!

I have the house to myself today, so what should I do? I think I am going to clean out my material.

I spoke with a good friend yesterday who gave me some advice on my mom.

I have been debating the whole giving my mom money thing. If she asks yes I will give it to her. However my friend made a valid point.

My friend does relief work with the red cross, and she was saying that it is better to enpower my mom then to do it for her. Such as maybe help her file a claim, or contact fema. If I go and do everything for her, then what happens the next time?

oh who knows? I do not know what is the right thing to do. Before my dad became ill it was so much easier. I just never spoke to my mother. I knew things would change after he died, but why is she leaning on me? Why doesn't she go lean on my sister?

Anyway, I some people interested in my bear claw tub! If they bought it that would be an extra $200! I love this thing of picking up other peoples trash and then selling it!

My spots are spreading up my legs. They are so ugly. So last night I decided that Rusty needed some spots. So I gave him some on his chest. He calls them hickies, I call them matching spots.

I am going to go get busy on some stuff.

I think your friend is right.  How does that saying go?  You can give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, you can teach a man to fish and he'll eat for a lifetime.  I think I got it right.

I came to visit and to read. I like to visit the people who take the time to come to my site.  Thanks.  I will see you again.   Gerry I am sorry your mom had to go through a tornado.  The very thought of one scares me spitless.  I once went to Alburs, I believe the name was, Pennslyvania (sp).  I came back home to Arizona and down the road aways a tornado came and wiped it completely out.
