a real eskimo!

Yesterday I worked with a guy who a no shit Indian from Alaska. I had such a good time talking to him and getting to know him. I must have asked a million questions and he answered all of them!

Our friend Elle lives in Alaska, and she has talked about Alaska for a long time. I so do want to go there. I want to see the northern lights, and wake up one morning with a moose in my front yard.

Yesterday I worked at what is going to be a new best buy. NEVER go in to those stores! Yesterday I was helping Frank tie up the wires that hold the lighting up. Well......All of the wiring is just zip tied to whatever you can find. When we could not find anything we were told to just run it over the water pipes!

If OSHA had walked in the job sight would have been closed down! We were 30 feet up, with NO safety gear. We were not even asked to put on a hard hat! The we are putting electric wire on water pipes?! I will never shop at a best buy for fear that a fire will break out or that a light will fall on my head!

I got home early today, so it will be nice to eat dinner with everyone else. But I will be in bed early as tomorrow is another day.

Oh! check this out! Today I took my Alaskan friend a case of juice and some toys that our children no longer use. ( he has four little children) Anyway, he was just so happy. They are living in a hotel, and I found out that the children do not have any toys.

Then today when I got home a found a trash bag full of boy's clothes. They were all Ryans size and were so NICE! I guess no good deed does go unnoticed. I am so grateful for those clothes because Ryan really needed some new clothes.

That is so neat how fast that worked!  This is encouraging for me to hear.  I'm so glad you're having a good time and open to meet new people.   I love doing that!  You sound like a lot of fun.

Hallo Sweetie!
Bloody hell I missed reading your journals, and writing mine. Its nice to hear there's another struggling woman out there who laughs with the shit that roll's our way.
My hubbys an electrician and a health and safety officer-he would have a shit-fit about your exploits on-site.
I am good really, just getting on with it, its good to have a job I love, and art is it. Im determined to get bigger and better,BUT NOT at the expense of my family!
